Searching for info on John King (b. abt 1844 Alabama) his wife Sarah (b. abt. 1848 Georgia) Sarah was Native American. Children: Mary b. abt.1867 Alabama, Lanora b. abt.1873 Alabama, Josie Lee b. abt.1874 Georgia, Martha b. abt. 1876 Georgia, and John E. b. abt. 1875 Mississippi. This family is listed in the 1880 census in DeSoto Co. Mississippi. They went to Saline Co. Arkansas, John King died there abt. 1891. According to the widows pension application John was in the 6th Alabama Infantry.
