My file contains a rough gathering and gleaning from books, census data, family records, internet records, vital records, and personal family information from relatives. I am supplying this information in an attempt to show connections between family groups that haven't been established before. Since my file contains a wide variety of New England families, I have been trying to fit them together as I have not seen before. I have NOT been able to cite every single source as I would have liked to, as I have had to transfer from one program to another where sources did not transfer, and thus left me with big holes. I just do not have the time to go back to check every one, sorry. If there is something that needs correcting, or if there is personal information that you would like removed, I will be more than happy to see what I can do to accomodate you. This project started out as a homeschool history project in honor of my grandfather, Howard Lamb Sawyer, and later became my obsession as the genealogy bug bit me. My mother's step-sister stole (definition: to take by unjust means) everything from his home he shared with my grandmother when she died and since that time I have been trying to rebuild the family history in order to replace something from him. Thankfully family history can be shared! My family has enjoyed looking into the past to see where we came from, and finding new "cousins" along the way to learn from as well. I pray that the information supplied is useful. I have a section on my Plymouth, VT relatives and most of the main families that lived in that area in the 1800s. Most notably the Coolidge family. I also have a section of my Cherokee branch and those related. Some of that work comes from the Starr books, but many of the connections come from personal research of family members that have shared. Thanks for visiting! Many Blessings, Jill Watters Rains P.S. It has taken me away from doing family research, but well worth it to build more family history as we make it!
