"Deacon Josiah Strong (son of Josiah Strong and Hannah Fuller)  b. Jan. 28, 1740, m. Jan. 13, 1761, Mary Harris, b. in 1740 (dau. of Dea. Benjamin Harris of Bridgewater, Mass., and Esther his wife), a farmer in Middletown, Ct., and after 1768 in Chatham, Ct., he d. Sept. 8, 1814.  She d. Jan. 1, 1822, aged 82.  [Dea. Benjamin Harris b. in Bridgewater, Mass., in 1700, d. in Middle Haddam, April 11, 1775, Esther his wife b. in 1708, d. Nov. 25, 1786, aged 78.]
